The Comeback Clan



Severely hit by the financial storm, TAI KU-TUNG’s (Ha Yu) restaurant is running short of capital. YIP MO-SING (Hui Shiu Hung) is coveting at the restaurant’s location and so decides to invest in it, completely ignorant of its financial situation. Now that the restaurant’s problem has been solved, TUNG gives himself over to working out new dishes. TSUI HEI-HEI (Sheung Tin Ngor) is a comer. This part-timer’s egg fried rice has won the appreciation of the Michelin experts, and so TUNG treats her extremely well.

A bank representative, LEI YUNG-CHI (Ng Wing Mei), pops in suddenly. HEI is a minibond victim. She picks up a fight with CHI as soon as she appears. HEI is injured and loses her memory. For fear that the restaurant’s reputation will be ruined, TUNG decides to put on a make up show. While he himself pretends to be HEI’s elder brother, SING acts as her husband. Cello teacher YIP TSIK-LEUNG (Sammul Chan) plays HEI’s son. His girlfriend, TAI YING-LEI (Natalie Tong), who is TUNG’s daughter, is assigned the role of HEI’s cousin. In the meantime, YUNG is fired. Claiming that she is a shareholder, she plans to reform the restaurant. A triangular balance of power is developed as a result. To make things worse, the three owners are all harboring a sinister design…
